Dungeon Duo

Is an idea I had a few years ago when I was working with the Project Zelda Engine and I almost thought about using the system for Battle Dungeons.

I almost named it Dungeon Duos but I wasn’t sure about that.  These are only Concept logos.

The Main Concept

The concept involves multiple dungeon paths and going through different paths depending on which two characters you are using at that time.

So certain team can only go certain paths in the adventure.

  1. So would the team remain the same the whole game or would the player have the option to switch out characters between levels/ stages/ chapters?

    • You would only be able to switch out at certain places or times. May have you choose the duo at the beginning of the game for replay value. Still a WIP but you will not be able to switch out at will most likely certain locations only.

  2. I don’t really understand… “Different Dungeon Paths”? You could just use some switches or write down a script to alter how the game tailors, i mean.

    • Yes different paths based on character and allies situation. Yes could use switches also.
